XSI 7 & ICE

Finally it happen, XSI 7 has come, and with it, ICE.
The new node-based programming system in XSI that let you do advanced particlesimulations and deformations (for now that is, they will continue to build upon the system to let you "code" things like rigging-systems).
I have made a few tests with it, but it is so much to discover that my brain goes a little crazy.

I've now made a new design for my portfolio, it's not totally done, more things are coming, but for the most part I think at least the core is done.

I will put more pictures in the gallery, and a new category called 'Animations' is coming up.

Back in town

I'm back home now to hopefully get a job tomorrow.
I will also finish my current project, redesign my portfolio and hopefully start to work on our mod-project.

I am sketching out some ideas right now for my new website-design. I think/hope that I will like this better so I can stick with it for at least a couple of months. ;)

I will look for a blogging-solution that I can implement directly on the main site, so hang tight to see my progress on this.

My future mod-project

I've talked a little bit with a friend of mine who also wants to do a mod of some sort, and we agreed on making one together.
We both love the Halo-trilogy, so don't be to surprised if it turns out to be a little Haloish. ;)
We'll see what game engine we will use, but I am pretty sure it will be either Unreal 3 or CryEngine 2.

On vacation

At the moment I'm on a little vacation in the north of Sweden with my girlfriend. Because of that I will not work anything on my 3D-projects for a while.

When I come back (maybe the beginning of next week, I have not decided that yet) I will finish my livingroom-project ( click for a WIP-picture ) and start on a game-mod of some sort, I will have more on that soon.
